Enquiries through the website form

What data: loading and delivery place, type of goods, date, name, phone or e-mail, your note and the IP address the enquiry was sent from.

Why: to prepare a quotation and arrange the transport. The IP address is used only to protect the form against abuse and spam.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); for the IP address, our legitimate interest in website security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long: enquiries are kept for 2 years from receipt, IP addresses for 90 days, then deleted automatically. If an enquiry leads to an order, the data is processed further under the contract and for the periods required by accounting and tax law.

CVs and job applications

What data: whatever you send us – usually a CV, contact details, experience, driving licence categories and driver qualification card.

Why: to assess your application and get back to you.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into an employment contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

How long: for the duration of the selection process and no more than 6 months after it ends. If you explicitly allow us to keep your CV for future openings, we keep it for up to 2 years; you can withdraw that consent at any time by e-mail.

Visiting the website

The website uses no cookies, no analytics or advertising tools and loads no third-party content. Fonts and images are served from our own server.

Like any web server, ours keeps technical access logs (IP address, time, page requested, browser type). They are used only for security and troubleshooting, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and are deleted after 14 days.

The map link leads to Google Maps. Google receives data only once you click it, and Google’s own policy applies.

Who has access to the data

Only QUICK TRANS staff who need it to handle your enquiry or application. We do not sell it or share it for marketing.

The following processors handle it on our behalf: Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) – the server running this website, and WebSupport s.r.o. (Slovakia) – e-mail mailboxes. The data does not leave the European Union.

We disclose it to public authorities only where the law requires us to.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing and receive it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time – this does not affect processing before the withdrawal.

Send your request to the e-mail address above. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Slovak data protection authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Other information

Providing your data is voluntary. Without contact details, however, we cannot send you a quotation or reply to your application.

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

Processing is governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act No. 18/2018 Coll. on personal data protection. We update this information as needed; the current version is always on this page.
